sb design is the work of Steve Bodner, a California licensed architect & sustainable design professional living in San Francisco, Ca. Steve provides architecture & design services to design professionals, businesses and individual clients wanting to take their conceptual ideas and develop them into buildable solutions. This includes conceptual sketches, design development, construction documentation & project management. A project can be as simple as transferring a sketch to digital form and developing its form in 3D, to providing realistic illustrations or massing studies at design review meetings.
Since graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Architecture in 1998, Steve has been involved in projects pertaining to high end residential design, retail town planning, multi-family housing. adaptable redevelopment, historic preservation and commercial retail development. His aspect in these projects has been from support staff to project management and design. In many cases, Steve’s role has developed into coordinating the project team and client interactions for single and multi-family housing projects in the San Francisco Bay area. Steve is well skilled at delivered projects from conception to completion with high quality construction drawings and attention to detail at every step of the way.
Over the course of the last 25 years, Steve has collaborated with a diverse range of design professional from architects and designers to real estate developers, TV shows, home owners, and businesses. In many cases, Steve has worked along side existing teams adding to their existing collective environment or independently- using his skills as a designer to guide projects to completion. No matter the project or client, Steve loves helping people develop their ideas and take pride in giving clients and collaborators an effective, well thought out design process with quality and professional service.
