Project overview: On a spectacular site overlooking the upper portion of Muir Beach, a new residence and craft workshop was designed. Within the limitations of a septic systems, setbacks and height limits, the proposed design reflects the flow of breezes, birds and rocks found on the site. With a minimum of interior walls, the space is an inner connection of uses than can function for more than one paradigm. Uses in most spaces can interchange with each other. The design was done in collaboration with Jerry Kler Architects.
